NICK DAZER

Nick is an experienced trial attorney who represents both plaintiffs and defendants in cases involving complex business disputes, insurance coverage, and catastrophic personal injury. He has an AV (Preeminent) rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings and has been rated as a SuperLawyers “Rising Star” each year since 2008.

Nick has tried over a dozen jury trials to verdict and has successfully argued in the Oregon Supreme Court.  He is a passionate and skilled advocate with the single-minded purpose to resolve his client’s case in the most expedient and efficient way possible.

After receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Biology cum laude from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, Nick received his Juris Doctor from Northwestern School of Lewis & Clark College in 2000.

Nick is an elected member of the Oregon State Bar House of Delegates. For more than a decade, Nick has served as a mentor for both law students and new attorneys and regularly writes and speaks on trial law and insurance coverage issues for both local and national legal organizations.

Nick has three children and a very patient wife. When he is not representing clients in court, he is either fishing for salmon and steelhead in Oregon’s myriad pristine rivers or building fishing rods with which to pursue them. His other hobbies are hunting and gourmet cooking.

With a special needs child of his own, it is Nick’s honor to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of L’Arche Portland, which provides a place to call home for people with developmental disabilities.
